1. General

WeFutureCompany B.V. respects the privacy of visitors to our website. In this privacy policy we explain which personal data we collect, for which purposes we do this and how we ensure secure processing of your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What personal data do we collect?

Currently we exclusively collect the personal data that you actively provide to us via the Mailchimp sign-up form on our website:

  • Email address (when you register to be kept informed of the launch of our e-scooters).

When our webshop goes live at a later stage, we may collect additional data (such as name, address, payment details and order history) that are necessary for the execution of a purchase agreement.

3. Purpose and legal basis of processing

We process your email address for the following purposes:

  • Information & Waiting List: To keep you informed of the launch, availability and news regarding our RDW-approved e-scooters.

  • Legal basis: Consent (Article 6 paragraph 1 sub a GDPR). You explicitly give this consent by entering your email address and ticking the opt-in checkbox.

4. Retention period

We do not keep your email address longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the stated purpose, or until you unsubscribe. You can unsubscribe at any desired moment via the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email we send, or by contacting us directly at contact@levride.com.

5. Processing via Mailchimp and transfer outside the EEA

We never sell your data to third parties. To manage our email list and send updates, we make use of Mailchimp (a service of The Rocket Science Group LLC / Intuit Inc.).

  • Data Processing Agreement: Mailchimp acts as a processor and processes your email address exclusively on our instructions.

  • Transfer outside the EEA: Since Mailchimp is based in the United States, your data is stored on servers in the US. This transfer takes place on the basis of the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF) and the approved Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), which ensures an adequate level of protection in accordance with European privacy legislation.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access: The right to see which personal data we process of yours.

  • Rectification: The right to have incorrect data amended.

  • Erasure: The right to have your data deleted ("right to be forgotten").

  • Withdrawal of consent: The right to withdraw your consent for processing at any time.

  • Data portability: The right to transfer your data to another party.

7. Data security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification of your personal data. Our website uses a secure SSL connection (HTTPS).

Do you have a complaint about the processing of your personal data? We are happy to help. Should you still not be able to resolve it with us, you have the right under privacy legislation to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
